The Azerbaijan Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund issued a record number of loans in the first 10 months of 2021 on annual basis, Trend reports on Oct.26 citing the fund.
Through the fund, from January this year to date, the authorized banks have issued 4,538 loans in the amount of 300 million manat ($176.4 million).
Totally, the Azerbaijan Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund has issued mortgage loans worth nearly 1.94 billion manat ($1.14 billion) since 2006, and the number of families who improved their living conditions at the expense of the issued loans exceeded 36,000.
The Azerbaijan Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund was established in 2017 by the decree of the President of Azerbaijan through the reorganization and merger of the Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund OJSC and the Azerbaijan Credit Guarantee Fund OJSC.
