Azerbaijan forecasts rise of investments in fixed capital by 2025

Investments in Azerbaijan’s fixed capital are forecasted to exceed 18.4 billion manat ($10.8 billion) in 2022, Trend reports citing the state budget’s bill.

According to the bill, in 2023, 2024 and 2025, the investments will amount to over 19.35 billion manat ($11.38 billion), 20.32 billion manat ($11.95 billion) and 21.38 billion manat ($12.58 billion), respectively.

Thus, by 2025, the volume of these investments will grow by 15.77 percent compared to the forecast for 2022. At the same time, real growth over three years will make up 3.5 percent.

From January through October 2021, 10.56 billion manat ($6.21 billion) were invested in fixed capital in Azerbaijan, which is 11.5 percent less than in the same period of last year.

In the total allocations to fixed capital, funds of enterprises and organizations amounted to 55.1 percent, budget funds - 24.1 percent, other funds - 7.4 percent, personal funds of the population - 7.3 percent, and bank loans - 6.1 percent.
