The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and UK increased by 46.3 percent from January through November 2021 and exceeded $589.8 million compared to the same period of last year, Trend reports referring to the report of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.
Azerbaijan’s export to UK exceeded $339.4 million while import from this country - about $250.5 million during the reporting period.
Moreover, Azerbaijan’s export to UK increased by 162 percent on an annualized basis, while import from this country decreased by 9.35 percent.
The positive balance of trade turnover between the two countries reached $88.9 million.
Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover as a whole increased by 32.85 percent or $7.5 billion from January through November 2021 compared to the same period of last year - from $22.7 billion to $30.2 billion.
The export volume reached $19.8 billion in the structure of Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover in the reporting period while import volume - $10.4 billion, having increased in annual terms by 51.6 percent and 7.47 percent, respectively.
