Presently, there are 1,107 enterprises with the Russian capital in Azerbaijan, the Russian Economy Ministry told Trend on Jan. 18.
The ministry stressed that the Russian side is effectively cooperating with Azerbaijan in the industrial sector.
“Russia and Azerbaijan, which are united by common economic interests, are cooperating in many spheres,” the ministry said. “There are about 200 enterprises with 100 percent-Russian capital in Azerbaijan.”
The trade turnover between Russia and Azerbaijan amounted to $2.6 billion as of 10 months of 2021 increasing by 12 percent compared to 2020. Russia’s export to Azerbaijan reached $1.8 billion (increase of 8.2 percent), import - $790 million (increase of 22 percent).
