Azerbaijan plans to develop a roadmap as part of the work on the use of financial technologies, the formation of a digital banking ecosystem, and expansion of access to the financial and banking services, Trend reports with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to the message, the road map is planned to be developed through the technical assistance of TheCityUK organization and via the support of the UK’s embassy in Azerbaijan.
For this purpose, the first meeting was held among the CBA, the Azerbaijan Banks Association, and the Azerbaijan FinTex Association, as well as the experts from TheCityUK in the presence of the UK’s ambassador James Sharp on January 17, 2022.
