The results of the recent monitoring haven’t revealed facts of unreasonable overpricing of flour and bread in the Azerbaijani market, the State Service for Antimonopoly Supervision and Market Control under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan told Trend.
According to the service, strict controls are in place to ensure the market compliance with antitrust legislation.
The service also informed about regular monitoring of prices for basic food products in the consumer market, as well as prices for traditional (round) bread.
All necessary measures are taken in Azerbaijan to prevent artificial inflating of prices for flour and bread.
