Azerbaijan unveils investments in fixed capital of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic

About 37.9 million manat ($22.3 million) were allocated to the fixed capital from all financial sources for the development of the social and economic sphere of Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in January 2022, which is by 1.1 percent more than in January 2021, Trend reports referring to the report of the State Statistics Committee of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

According to the State Statistics Committee, 93 percent of investments (more than 35.2 million manat $20.7 million) in fixed assets accounted for construction and installation work.

GDP of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic increased by 1.1 percent in January 2022 compared to January 2021.

Moreover, GDP per capita in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in January 2022 amounted to 389.4 manat ($229.05), which is 2.2 percent more than in January 2021.
