The State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASAN Service), and its subordinate structures have concluded agreements with over 15 countries and international organizations, Head of the Public Relations Department of the ASAN Service Elnur Niftaliyev told Trend.
According to him, memorandums of understanding have been signed with the relevant agencies of Italy, Great Britain, Turkey, Montenegro, Estonia, Korea, Indonesia, Morocco, Uzbekistan, Uganda and other countries.
"Furthermore, due to the interest in our service model, the agency's specialists conducted training for representatives of the corresponding agencies of Indonesia, Montenegro, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Russia and other countries. We also received requests from a number of countries (UAE, Iraq, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Jordan, etc.) on applying the ASAN Service's practice in these countries, and expanding cooperation in public service provision. Negotiations with these countries are underway to create a legal framework in the relevant areas," said Niftaliyev.
Meanwhile, as Niftaliyev noted, memorandums of understanding have been signed with the international organization "United Cities and Local Authorities, UCLG" (Regional Office for Africa) and the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO). On October 25, 2018, a cooperation program was signed between the State Agency and ICESCO. Within this program, the Azerbaijani ASAN Service was awarded the "ASAN ICESCO".
