BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 22. The manufacturing value of metallurgical products in Azerbaijan increased from January through February 2022, Trend reports citing the State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, this figure amounted to 261.7 million manat ($153.9 million), up by 142.5 million manat ($83.8 million), or 54.45 percent, on annual basis.

Besides, according to the committee, the production of other structures from ferrous metals amounted to nearly 2.56 million manat or $1.51 million (a decrease of 32 percent over the year).
In 2021, the manufacturing value of metallurgical products in Azerbaijan grew by 442 million manat ($260.1 million), or 38.5 percent, compared to 2020, to over 1.14 billion manat ($670 million).
