BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 13. The World Bank (WB) may offer Azerbaijan a preferential loan, Trend reports citing the WB.

According to the statement, the Bank will apply special lending terms for countries involved in conflicts. These conditions include lower interest rates on loans. The list of countries affected by conflicts is updated annually on July 1.

"The offer of concessional lending for Azerbaijan will be valid until June 30, 2023," the WB said.

Azerbaijan has been cooperating with the World Bank since 1992. To date, the Bank has provided Azerbaijan with loans totaling about $4 billion for the implementation of over 50 projects.
