BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 19. International Monetary Fund (IMF) predicts a surplus in Azerbaijan's balance of payments in 2022 at the level of 37.2 percent of GDP, Trend reports with reference to the IMF report.
Growth rate of Azerbaijan's balance of payments in 2023 will decrease by 8.5 percent compared to the forecast for the current year and will amount to 27.8 percent, IMF report said.
Earlier, IMF noted that the nominal GDP of Azerbaijan in 2022 will exceed 93 billion manat ($54.7 billion), in 2023 - 95 billion manat ($55.8 billion), in 2024 it will amount to almost 98 billion manat ($57.6 billion).
