BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 31. Azerbaijan's non-oil exports increased from January through April 2022, Trend reports via the "Export Review", presented by the Center for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communication of Azerbaijan.

According to the review, this figure amounted to $965.52 million, up by 38.5 percent on annual basis.

Azerbaijani exports of fruits and vegetables rose by 23.6 percent in the first four months of this year compared to the same period of 2021, up to $162.6 million.

Meanwhile, exports of chemical products grew by 9.9 times, aluminum and products from it - by 90.6 percent, ferrous metals and products from them - by 53.3 percent, cotton yarn - by 19.8 percent, cotton fiber - by 6.8 percent, compared to 4M2021.

Azerbaijan's total exports amounted to $3.8 billion in April 2022, of which $238.3 million fell on non-oil products.

At the same time, Azerbaijani food exports increased by 6.2 percent compared to last year’s April and stood at $51.4 million, and non-food products - by 27.2 percent - up to $186.9 million.

From January through April 2022, total export volume of the country reached $11.8 billion.
