BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 10. The consumer price index in Azerbaijan increased by 12.6 percent from January through May 2022 compared to the same period last year, Azerbaijan’s State Statistics Committee told Trend.
Committee reported that prices for food, drinks and tobacco increased by 17.9 percent over the year. Non-food products rose in price by 6.6 percent, and paid services to the population - by 10.2 percent.
Consumer price index in Azerbaijan increased by 0.7 percent in May 2022 compared to April and by 13.7 percent compared to May 2021.
