BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 13. Exports from Azerbaijan to Israel amounted to $541.6 million from January through April 2022, which is 3.07 times higher than the same period last year, Trend reports with reference to the statistical bulletin of Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee.

The share of Israel in total export of Azerbaijan reached 4.58 percent in the reporting period.

Azerbaijan's imports from Israel amounted to about $10.6 million during this period.

The share of Israel in the total import of Azerbaijan amounted to 0.26 percent.

The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Israel amounted to $552.2 million from January through April 2022.

Azerbaijan exported over 790,540 tons of oil to Israel in the first four months of 2022, which is 8.35 percent of the total Azerbaijani export of raw materials. Azerbaijani oil exports to Israel in value terms, in the reporting period, amounted to about $539.1 million.

Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover totally increased by 60.3 percent from January through April 2022, or $5.9 billion compared to the same period last year - from $9.8 billion to $15.8 billion.

Exports, in the structure of foreign trade turnover, accounted for $11.8 billion, which is $5.4 billion (85.7 percent) more than in the period from January through April 2021.

The share of exports in foreign trade turnover amounted to 74.5 percent against 64.3 percent a year earlier.

Azerbaijan's imports increased by $511.6 million or 14.5 percent, in the reporting period, from $3.5 billion to $4.04 billion. The share of imports in foreign trade turnover amounted to 25.4 percent against 35.6 percent a year earlier.
