BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 21. Azerbaijan increased the manufacturing volume of paint and varnish products from January through May 2022, Trend reports referring to the State Statistical Committee.
According to the committee, this figure amounted to 10,900 tons, up by 15.9 percent on annual basis.
The committee also said that in the first five months of this year, propylene production in Azerbaijan decreased by 7.7 percent on annual basis and equaled 42,500 tons (with 39,700 tons accounting for production of commercial propylene).
Meanwhile, 230,100 tons of methanol were produced in the country (a growth of 4.87 times compared to 5M2021).
At the same time, 45,500 tons of polyethylene were produced in Azerbaijan.
