BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 22. The new World Bank (WB) project named 'Favorable business environment' was presented at the meeting of Azerbaijan's Working Group on Taxes and Accountability of the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings, Trend reports referring to the country's State Tax Service.
According to the agency, participants of the meeting discussed the formation of a diagnostic matrix of the "Tax payments" project and setting up a diagnostic group for this purpose.
"The meeting focused on the project and upcoming tasks, in connection with which an exchange of views took place on the Action Plan of the working group for 2022.
The event also noted the importance of expanding tools increasing awareness and satisfaction of business entities in taxation and accountability," the statement said.
