BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 22. The gross domestic product (GDP) of Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) increased by 2.3 percent from January through July 2022 against the same period of 2021, Trend reports citing the State Statistical Committee of the NAR.
In the reporting period, Nakhchivan's GDP exceeded 1.6 billion manat ($941.1 million).
As the Committee reported, the industrial output from January through July 2022 rose above 682.4 million manat ($401.4 million), up by 2.2 percent compared to the same period of 2021.
GDP per capita in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic during this period amounted to 3,563 manat ($2,095), which was 2.7 percent more than from January through July 2021.
