BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 24. Education Development and Support Fund, established in 2021 under the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan, aims to modernize and replace equipment in educational institutions, attract students to private and public projects, as well as to develop projects for educational institutions, Trend reports via Advisor to the Minister of Science and Education of Azerbaijan Elnur Nasibov.
According to him, work on the preparation of the fund's strategy continues today.
"It's conducted jointly with higher educational institutions and technical colleges. After the approval of this strategy, it's planned to start implementing relevant industry projects," Nasibov said.
Advisor to the Minister noted that the decision on the fund's budget will be made by the Cabinet of Ministers.
"The Fund will take an active part in the preparation of grant competitions for private IT companies, as well as carry out entrepreneurial activities in the educational field," he added.
