BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 26. Azerbaijan's total revenues from mandatory state social insurance contributions grew from January through August 2022, the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan told Trend.
According to the service, this figure amounted to 2.9 billion manat ($1.7 billion), up by 454.2 million manat ($267.1 million), or 18.2 percent compared to the same period the previous year.
Meanwhile, the total revenues from unemployment insurance premiums grew by 20.3 percent in annual terms and amounted up to 103.2 million manat ($60.7 million).
Revenues from mandatory health insurance contributions from January through August 2022 increased by 41.1 percent compared to the same period last year and amounted to 524.7 million manat ($308.6 million).
