BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 8. Azerbaijan’s AccessBank issues 7,000 microloans (worth up to 5,000 manat or $2,940) monthly, Board Chairman of AccessBank David Tsiklauri told Trend.
According to Tsiklauri, the bank has 30 branches throughout the country and the issuance of 7,000 loans per month is very high indicator.
"Our bank is very active in the regions of the country. For example, 60 percent of the market share of microcredit falls on AccessBank branches in the regions of Azerbaijan, and 20 percent - in Absheron," he said.
The board chairman stressed that the bank plans to launch the process of the fastest issuance of microloans in Azerbaijan.
"To implement this and a number of other tasks, AccessBank began to carry out internal and external digitalization of banking processes," added Tsiklauri.
