BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 15. Azerbaijan's GDP increased from January through October 2022, the State Statistical Committee told Trend on November 15.
According to the committee, this indicator amounted to 111 billion manat ($65.3 billion), up by 5.2 percent in annual terms.
In the first 10 months of this year, the added value cost in the non-oil sector grew by 9.7 percent, while in the oil and gas sector it decreased by 2.4 percent compared to the same period in 2021, the committee said.
During the reporting period, the share of industry in GDP made up 52.9 percent.
Meanwhile, according to the committee, 7.9 percent of GDP fell on trade and repair of vehicles, 5.9 percent – on transport and storage, 5.1 percent – on agriculture, forestry, and fish farming, 3.9 percent – on construction, 1.5 percent – on tourist sector, as well as 1.3 percent – on information and communication. A total of 14 percent accounted for other economic sectors.
Net import tax revenues from January through October 2022 made up 7.5 percent of GDP, and GDP per capita settled at 11,032 manat ($6,490), the committee added.
