BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 17. Azerbaijan Fashion Retail Association (AFRA) plans to regularly take part in top fashion shows and establish new contacts, AFRA Chairman Farid Novruzi told Trend on November 17.
"The last exhibition we visited was 'MICAM Milano' in Italy. This is the world's leading footwear fair that takes place twice a year – in February and September. During the exhibition, we held a number of meetings with brands that offer not only shoes, but also accessories and other goods and which are interested in entering the Azerbaijani market," he said.
According to Novruzi, these events is in the Association's spotlight given the prospects for expanding cooperation.
"We will continue to represent Azerbaijan in such kind of fairs, establish contacts with leading countries of this sector, study and adopt experience for the development of this industry in Azerbaijan. We also plan to invite our colleagues to Azerbaijan to get acquainted and exchange of experience," he added.
