BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 17. Turkish Hopa transhipped 134 861 tons of cargo from January to October 2022, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.
The vessels flying under the Turkish flag transshipped 3 309 tons of cargo, while 131 552 tons of cargo were transported by the vessels flying under the flags of other countries.
"Some 15 249 tons of cargo were transited through the Turkish Hopa port from January to October 2022," the ministry said.
Some 330 million tons of cargo were transshipped through Turkish ports from January to October 2022.
During the specified time period, Turkish-flagged vessels transported a total of 23 million tons of cargo.
The vessels flying under the flags of other countries transported 31 million tons of cargo.
Moreover, some 6 million tons of transit cargo were transhipped through Turkish ports in August 2022.
A total of 264 million tons of cargo were transhipped through Turkish ports from January to August 2022.
During the mentioned period, ships flying the Turkish flag transported 18 million tons of cargo through Turkish ports, while ships flying other flags transported 307 million tons.
Turkish ports transhipped 66 million of transit cargo from January to October 2022.
