BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 24. The agricultural production value in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic exceeded 475.517 million manat ($279.37 million) from January through October 2022, Trend reports referring to Nakhchivan’s State Statistical Committee.
According to the committee, this figure increased by 3.8 percent year over year.
In the first ten months of 2022, 23,122 tons of meat in live weight (growth of 6.7 percent) and 81,908 tons of milk (growth of 1.4 percent) were produced in Nakhchivan.
The gross domestic product (GDP) of Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan exceeded 2.4 billion manat ($1.4 billion) from January through October 2022. Thus, Nakhchivan's GDP increased by 2.6 percent against the same period of 2021.
GDP per capita in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic amounted to 5,272 manat ($3,097) during this period, which was 3.4 percent more than from January through October 2021.
