BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 12. Azerbaijan’s fixed capital investments amounted to 13.05 billion manat ($7.6 billion) from January through November 2022, increasing by 8.2 percent against the same period of 2021, Trend reports referring to Azerbaijan’s State Statistical Committee.

In the reporting period, investments in the oil sector dropped by 14.7 percent, while investments in the non-oil sector increased by 24.5 percent year over year.

Meanwhile, 54.9 percent (7.16 billion manat or $4.2 billion) of investments fell on the manufacturing sector, 38.8 percent (5.069 billion manat or $2.97 billion) – on the service sector, 6.3 percent (823.4 million manat or $483.6 million) – on the construction of residential buildings, and 77.2 percent (10.08 billion manat or $5.9 billion) – on internal funds.

A total of 9.59 billion manat, $5.6 billion (73.5 percent of fixed capital investments) have been spent on construction and installation work.

Out of the total fixed capital investments, enterprises and organizations made up 48.4 percent, budgetary funds – 37.3 percent, other funds – 3.8 percent, personal funds of the population – 7.8 percent, and bank loans – 2.7 percent.
