BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 3. PwC's strategy in Azerbaijan is primarily aimed at helping local businesses, both private and public, help them transform successfully, Managing Partner of PwC in Azerbaijan Movlan Pashayev told Trend in an interview.

According to him, this direction is currently one of the most essential in the global PwC network.

"PwC is present in almost every country in the world, and we have experience in almost every industry. In Azerbaijan, for example, we have created a "Blood Bank" jointly with Norway, which indicates our experience even in such sectors," he added.

Pashayev noted that PwC is aimed at assisting Azerbaijan in the development of enterprises and businesses, strengthening their competitiveness, changing their structure, and improving the form of doing business in accordance with the challenges that it faces.

"These risks will continue for at least another 2-3 years, and we do not expect the global economy to stabilize - it will keep changing. Azerbaijan, as a part of the world economy, will definitely be subject to these shocks. And we advise the heads of enterprises on how they can resist them and how companies can survive in a rapidly changing time," he added.

PricewaterhouseCoopers Global (PwC) is one of the world’s most extensive networks of professional services firms. In its current form, the network of firms was established in 1998 through the merger of Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand, both of which were headquartered in London. PwC helps organizations and individuals create the value they’re looking for, by delivering quality assurance, tax, legal and advisory services.

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Azerbaijan, established in 1995, is one of the country’s first international professional services firms.
