BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 9. The cost of paid services provided to Baku's population in 2022 totaled 5.7 billion manat ($3.3 billion), increasing by 9.1 percent compared to 2021, Trend reports via the Baku City Statistics Department.
During this period, legal entities provided the capital's population with 5.5 billion manat ($3.2 billion) worth of services.
According to the State Statistics Committee, the cost of paid services provided to the population of Azerbaijan increased by 8 percent in 2022 compared to 2021 and totaled 9.2 billion manat ($5.4 billion).
The value of Baku's trade turnover increased by 5 percent and totaled 30.81 billion manat ($18.1 billion) in 2022 compared to 2021. Sales of foodstuffs, drinks, and tobacco products in Baku during the accounting period rose by 16.9 percent compared to 2021, up to 18.6 billion manat ($10.9 billion).
