BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 17. Türkiye's export value of steel to Kyrgyzstan decreased by 92 percent from January through February 2023 compared to the same period of the previous year, to $228,400, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told TurkicWorld, Trend reports.
Meanwhile, in February 2023, Türkiye reduced the export value of steel to Kyrgyzstan by 82 percent compared to February 2022, to $223,900.
Overall, the export value of steel from Türkiye decreased by 35.2 percent from January through February 2023 compared to the same period last year and totaled $2.2 billion.
In February 2023, Türkiye exported steel worth $1.1 billion, which is 38.8 percent less than in the same month of the previous year.
Over the past 12 months (from February 2022 through February 2023), Türkiye has exported steel worth $31.6 billion.
