BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 18. Azerbaijan exported 750,8 tons of citrus fruits from January through February 2023, the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan told Trend .
The ministry said this index increased 10.8 times year-on-year.
"The export value increased 6.3 times compared to the same period of 2022, amounting to $582,800," the ministry said.
Furthermore, by the end of 2022, the value of exported agricultural products of Azerbaijan exceeded $1.14 billion, which is an increase of 3.2 percent, compared to 2021. Last year, an estimated total of around 396,000 tons of fruit were exported from the country, which is 5.6 percent more than in 2021.
