BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 22. Azerbaijan’s propylene output stood at 27,900 tons from January through February 2023, Trend reports via the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.
In the reporting period, 29,600 tons of polyethylene were manufactured in Azerbaijan, decreasing by 1.3 percent on annual basis.

In 2022, Azerbaijan produced 134,700 tons of propylene, 134,700 tons of polyethylene, 139,800 tons of ethylene, 194.7 tons of iodine, 5.488 million cubic meters of oxygen, 534,500 tons of methanol, and 23.406 million cubic meters of nitrogen.
A year earlier, in 2021, the country manufactured 146,400 tons of propylene, 164,700 tons of polyethylene, 168,400 tons of ethylene, 167.5 tons of iodine, 378,200 tons of methanol, and 22.481 million cubic meters of nitrogen.
