BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 6. Three more business entities have obtained the status of residents in Azerbaijan's Sumgait Chemical Industry Park, Azerbaijan's Economic Zones Development Agency told Trend.
Thus, the number of residents in the industrial park reached 35.
"The first resident is Az-Kom Servis LLC, which will be engaged in the processing of oils of grades SN 150, SN 350, and SN 500, as well as bitumen and diesel fuel. The second resident is Neo Project LLC - a manufacturer of composite reinforcement and other products, and the third is Sakuraz Green Energy LLC, a lithium battery remanufacturing company," said the agency.
In 2022, 28 business entities received resident status in industrial zones (two of which became residents of the Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park), while a total of 116 business entities have received resident status to date. Residents registered in industrial zones plan to invest a total of 171 million manat ($100.5 million) and create more than 2,400 jobs.
Furthermore, four new enterprises are planned to be launched in the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park in 2023.
