Türkiye sees decrease in export of clothes for 4M2023

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 5. The export of clothes from Türkiye decreased by 10.4 percent to $6.7 billion from January through April 2023 compared to the same period last year, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told TurkicWorld, Trend reports.

"In April of this year, Türkiye exported clothing worth $1.5 billion, which is 26.2 percent less than in the same period last year," the ministry said.

From April 2022 through April 2023, the country exported clothing worth $20.4 billion.

Türkiye is one of the leading exporters of clothing in the world. Turkish manufacturers offer a wide range of clothing, including different styles, sizes, and colors, for both domestic and export markets.

The country exports ready-made garments to many countries, including Russia, the US, and the EU, as well as countries in the Middle East and Africa.

Turkish clothing manufacturers are known for their quality and fashionable designs, making their products very popular among consumers around the world.
