BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 15. Income from contributions to compulsory state social insurance increased by 12.2 percent (176.1 million manat or $103.5 million) compared to the same period last year and reached 1.6 billion manat ($941.1 million) in Azerbaijan from January through April 2023, the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan told Trend.
Revenues from non-budgetary organizations increased by 13.8 percent compared to 2022 and amounted to more than 1 billion manat ($588.2 million).
Income from unemployment insurance premiums increased by 15.1 percent compared to the same period last year and amounted to 56.7 million manat ($33.3 million), including income from extra-budgetary organizations increased by 15.8 percent and amounted to 41.8 million manat ($24.5 million).
Income from compulsory health insurance contributions increased by 17.6 percent compared to the same period in 2022 and amounted to more than 291.5 million manat ($171.4 million), including income from non-budgetary organizations increased by 21.1 percent and amounted to more than 204.3 million manat ($120.1 million).
Azerbaijan's income for contributions to compulsory state social insurance increased by 19.2 percent (737.8 million manat or $433.9 million) compared to 2021 and reached 4.6 billion manat ($2.7 billion) in 2022 in Azerbaijan.
