BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 23. Iranian citizens purchased 1,821 real estate objects in Türkiye from January through April 2023, which is 1,340 less than in the same period of 2022, Turkish State Authority on Land Cadastre and Purchase and Sale said, Trend reports.
According to the source, in April 2023, Iranian citizens purchased 377 real estate objects in the country, which is 528 less year-on-year.
At the same time, in the same month of the current year, 85,652 properties were sold in the country, which is 35.6 percent less than in the same period of last year.
Moreover, in the first four months of the current year, 368,867 real estate objects were sold to foreigners in Türkiye, which is 18.6 percent less year-on-year.
Meanwhile, in April 2023, 2,557 properties were sold to foreign citizens in the country, which is 60.3 percent less than in the same period of the preceding year.
Overall, from January through April this year, foreign citizens purchased 13,483 properties in the country, which is 35.1 percent less year-on-year.
