BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 18. A number of issues related to monetary policy were discussed in Azerbaijan, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan told Trend.
The issues of the foreign exchange market, the new operational framework of monetary policy, the current state and development of the banking and insurance sectors, as well as the medium-term framework for public debt management, new goals and changes in the Borrowing Strategy, proposals for the creation of a mechanism for compensating investors in the capital markets were widely discussed at the meeting of the Economic Council.
Following the meeting, decisions were made on the issues, taking into account the proposals of the council members, and instructions were given to the relevant bodies.
