BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 8. Exports of ready-made clothing from Türkiye decreased from January through July 2023 by seven percent compared to the same period in 2022 and amounted to $11.5 billion, the Turkish Ministry of Trade said, Trend reports.
"Türkiye exported $1.6 billion worth of ready-made clothing in July 2023, which is 3.9 percent less than in July 2022," according to the government.
Türkiye exported ready-made garments worth $20.3 billion in the previous 12 months (from July 2022 to July 2023).
Türkiye is one of the world's biggest garment exporters. Turkish manufacturers provide a diverse selection of apparel in a variety of designs, sizes, and colors for both home and foreign markets.
The country exports ready-made garments to many countries, including Russia, the US, and the EU, as well as countries in the Middle East and Africa.
Turkish clothing manufacturers are known for their quality and fashionable designs, making their products very popular among consumers around the world.
