Cost of paid services to population hikes up in Azerbaijan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 14. The cost of paid services provided to the population in Azerbaijan increased by 15.2 percent and amounted to 6.2 billion manat ($3.6 billion) from January through July 2023 compared to the same period in 2022, Trend reports.

The State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan reports that during the reporting period, legal entities in Azerbaijan rendered services to the population for 4.6 billion manat ($2.7 billion), or 75 percent of the total volume of rendered services.

over January through July 2023, the volume of paid services per capita was 615.5 manats ($362.06), up 127 manats ($74.7) over 2022.

In Azerbaijan, the price of paid services to the populace increased by 8% between 2021 and 2022, reaching 9.2 billion manat ($5.4 billion).

The Committee estimates that during the stated time, services were rendered to the public in Azerbaijan for 7 billion manat ($4.1 billion), or 75.9 percent of the total amount of rendered services.

Paid services provided to the public in Azerbaijan cost 7.7 billion manat ($4.5 billion) in 2021 compared to 2020, an increase of 4.8 percent.
