Volume of cargo transportation from Italy to Turkish ports disclosed

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 18. A total of 558,182 tons of cargo were transported from Croatia to Turkish ports from January through July 2023, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure said, Trend reports.

Vessels under the flag of Türkiye delivered 35,503 tons of cargo from Croatia to ports of Türkiye, and vessels under the flags of other countries - 369,316 tons. During the specified period, 153,363 tons of cargo were delivered to the ports of Türkiye by vessels under the flag of Croatia.

Between January and July 2023, transit cargo totaling 784,679 tons was shipped from Croatia to Turkish ports.

32.5 million tons of cargo were transported via Turkish ports overall in July 2023.

Additionally, during the time period in question, 2.5 million tons of cargo were transported by ships flying the nation's flag through domestic ports.

Cargo transportation through the ports of Türkiye by ships under the flags of other countries amounted to 30.1 million tons.

In addition, Turkish ports handled 6.1 million tons of transit cargo in July 2023.

Turkish ports handled 227.03 million tons of cargo from January through July 2023.

Furthermore, cargo transportation by vessels under the flag of Türkiye amounted to 16.8 million tons during the specified period. Cargo transportation through the ports of Türkiye by ships under the flags of other countries amounted to 210.2 million tons.

Turkish ports handled 81 million tons of transit cargo from January through July 2023.
