BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 18. Türkiye reduced exports of steel products to Uzbekistan by 32 percent ($26.1 million) from January through July 2023 compared to the same period last year, the Turkish Ministry of Trade said, Trend reports.
Türkiye reduced exports of steel products to Uzbekistan by 3.8 percent ($474,500) in July 2023 year-on-year.
In addition, exports of Turkish steel products decreased by 37.8 percent and amounted to $4.4 million from January through July 2023 compared to the same period last year.
Moreover, Uzbekistan imported from Türkiye $1.2 billion worth of steel products in July 2023, which is 27.2 percent less than in July last year.
In general, Türkiye has exported steel products worth $16 billion over the past 12 months (from July 2022 through July 2023).
