BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 13. Poultry enterprises produced 57,500 tons of poultry meat in live weight and 764.5 million eggs from January through September 2023, Trend reports.
According to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, poultry meat production decreased by 2.9 percent and egg production increased by 27.5 percent compared to the corresponding period in 2022.
In addition, poultry enterprises produced 59,200 tons of poultry meat in live weight and 599.4 million eggs from January through September last year.
In general, each of the 11.5 million birds laid an average of 194 eggs during the period from January through September.
