BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 23. Total payments of 10 leading insurance companies in Azerbaijan amounted to 380.6 million manat, or $223.8 million (95.07 percent of total insurance payments), from January through September 2023, Trend reports.
According to the results of the reporting period, the ranking on the volume of insurance payments was headed by Pasha Life Insurance, which accounted for 49.96 percent of the total insurance payments of all companies. Pasha Life Insurance made payments worth 200 million manat ($117.6 million) from January through September 2023.
The second position in the ranking was taken by Pasha Insurance with total payments amounting to 67.6 million manat or $39.7 million (16.89 percent of all payments), and the third position was taken by Azerbaijan Industry Insurance with payments amounting to 27.4 million manat or $16.1 million (6.86 percent).
Total payments of all insurance companies in Azerbaijan amounted to 400.3 million manat ($235.4 million) from January through September 2023.
