BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 14. Revenues to the state budget of Azerbaijan through the State Customs Committee (SCC) increased by 12.68 percent from January through October 2023 year-on-year, Trend reports.
The data of the SCC shows that revenues exceeded 5.2 billion manat ($3 billion) from January through October 2023.
Receipts from customs duties to the state budget increased by 19.31 percent (219.6 million manat or $129.1 million) from January through October 2023 year-on-year and amounted to 1.3 billion manat ($764.7 million).
Revenue from VAT amounted to 3.6 billion manat ($2.1 billion) from January through October 2023 (up by 10.01 percent year-on-year), from excise tax - 186.6 million manat or $109.7 million (up by 39.35 percent), from road tax - 36.5 million manat or $21.4 million (down by 30.59 percent).
Revenues to the state budget of Azerbaijan through the SCC grew by 30.21 percent in 2022 year-on-year - up to 5.6 billion manat ($3.2 billion).
The SCC fulfilled the forecast on state budget revenues by 111.29 percent in 2021. The amount transferred to the state budget in excess of the forecast amounted to 440.3 million manat ($258.9 million).
Azerbaijan SCC transferred 4.3 billion manat ($2.5 billion) to the state budget in 2021, which is 10.3 percent more over year.
