BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 29. Türkiye's exports of jet fuel to Georgia in October 2023 amounted to 5,650 tons, Trend reports.
According to data from Türkiye's Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK), this volume saw a substantial year-on-year increase, in contrast to the slightly over 90 tons exported in October 2022.
However, Georgia's import of jet fuel from Türkiye in the reported period nearly dropped by half compared to September of this year (10,480 tons).
Overall, Turkish jet fuel exports to Georgia have reached almost 37,000 tons since the beginning of the year.
In October 2023, Türkiye supplied around 480,280 tons of jet fuel to various countries. Overall, the country's fuel exports exceeded 2.92 million tons in this year's reported period, marking a 147 percent increase year-on-year (compared to 1.18 million tons in October 2022).
Meanwhile, EPDK data reveals that Türkiye's imports of oil and oil products in the 2023 reported period amounted to 4.24 million tons, remaining almost the same compared to the same period last year.
