BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 14. In January 2024, the Azerbaijani population's nominal income increased by 4.47 percent to reach 5.6 billion manat ($3.3 billion), marking a rise of 240.4 million manat ($141.2 million) compared to the same period last year, Trend reports, referring to the country's State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan.
According to the committee's figures, per capita income increased by 3.9 percent, or 20.8 manat ($12.2) during this period.
The growth rate of the population's income after payment of all mandatory and voluntary contributions amounted to 4.5 percent or 208.2 million manat ($122.5 million) compared to the same period of 2023. At the same time, per capita income grew by 3.94 percent or 18 manat ($10.6).

The nominal income of Azerbaijan's population in 2023 increased by 12.85 percent or 8.9 billion manat or $5.2 billion compared to 2022 and reached 78.05 billion manat or $4.6 billion.
Per capita income grew by 12.2 percent or 835.9 manat ($491.7) during the mentioned period. The growth rate of personal income after payment of all mandatory and voluntary contributions amounted to 12.83 percent or 7.887 billion manat ($4.6 billion) compared to the same period of 2022. At the same time, per capita income grew by 12.19 percent or 741.8 manat ($436.4).
