BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 11. In 2023, Aramco averaged a daily hydrocarbon production of 12.8 million barrels of oil equivalent (mmboed), including 10.7 million barrels per day (mmbpd) of total liquids, Trend reports.
According to Aramco's latest report, the company maintained its supply reliability, achieving a 99.8-percent reliability rate in delivering crude oil and other products throughout 2023.
Meanwhile, significant progress was made on Aramco's Marjan, Berri, Dammam, and Zuluf crude increment projects, aimed at enhancing operational flexibility, reliability, and capturing value from increased global demand. This aligns with the company's goal to sustain a Maximum Sustainable Capacity of 12 mmbpd.
As for gas projects, Aramco is pushing forward to boost gas production by over 60 percent by 2030 compared to 2021 levels.
Key initiatives include the Hawiyah Unayzah Gas Reservoir Storage, where injection activities have begun, targeting up to two billion standard cubic feet per day (bscfd) for reintroduction into the master gas system.
Other developments involve the completion of the Hawiyah Gas Plant expansion, increasing raw gas processing capacity by 800 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd), including around 750 mmscfd of sales gas capacity, and the initiation of unconventional tight gas production from the South Ghawar operational area.
