BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 12. Iran's crude output in March 2024 totaled 3,188 mb/d, Trend reports.
According to OPEC's data, the country's oil production increased by 28,000 b/d month-on-month, reaching 3,148 mb/d in February 2024.
In comparison to December 2023, Iran's oil output during the same period also rose by 27,000 b/d to 3,161 mb/d. In total, in the first quarter of 2024, the country's crude output reached 3,170 mb/d.
According to OPEC's secondary sources, Iran's oil production is estimated to have reached 2,859 mb/d throughout 2023, marking a year-on-year increase of 305,000 b/d.
Meanwhile, based on secondary sources, the combined crude oil production of OPEC-12 averaged 26.60 mb/d in March 2024, marking an increase of 300,000 b/d compared to the previous month.
Crude oil output saw significant rises primarily in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Gabon, and Kuwait, whereas production decreased in Nigeria, Iraq, and Venezuela.
