BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 3. Analysts from ING have presented a forecast for GDP growth in Azerbaijan for the coming years, Trend reports.
According to the latest data, economic growth in the country is expected to rise to four percent in the first quarter of 2024.
Subsequently, some slowdown is anticipated, with rates of 2.5 percent and two percent in the second and third quarters of this year, respectively.
Overall, economists expect moderate GDP growth in Azerbaijan at 2.5 percent in 2024, 2.7 percent in 2025, and 2.6 percent in 2026.
Thus, according to ING's forecasts, the average annual economic growth in Azerbaijan from 2024 through 2026 will be 2.6 percent.
To note, the UN forecasts Azerbaijan's GDP growth at 2.6 percent in 2024, the World Bank at 2.3 percent, and Moody's at 2 percent.
