Hotel revenues go up in Azerbaijan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 25. The revenues of hotels and hotel-type facilities increased by 26.9 percent from January through June 2024 compared to the corresponding period of 2023 and amounted to 265.7 million manat ($156.2 million), Trend reports, referring to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan.

According to the information, 60.7 percent came from room services, 27.1 percent from catering services, 3.3 percent from medical and health-improving services, and 8.9 percent from other services.

Meanwhile, the full utilization of hotels and hotel-type facilities amounted to 21.1 percent from January through June 2024 (16.6 percent from January through June 2023). This indicator amounted to 49.1 percent in Shabran, 39.1 percent in Naftalan, 37.3 percent in Baku, 28 percent in Gusar, and below the national average in other cities and districts.
