TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, August 20. Abu Dhabi Sustainable Water Solutions (SWS) and Uzsuvtaminot, Uzbekistan's water management company, have signed an agreement on the joint implementation of a wastewater treatment facility in the Kuyichirchik district of Tashkent region, Trend reports.

The document was inked in the presence of Laziz Kudratov, Uzbekistan's Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade.

The new facility is set to have an initial capacity of 1 million cubic meters per day, with plans to increase to 1.5 million cubic meters. The project also involves constructing a 42-kilometer wastewater collector to enhance the efficient collection and transportation of wastewater for treatment.

The installation of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) will enable effective monitoring and management of the wastewater processes.
