ASHGABAT, Azerbaijan, October 4. Turkmenistan and Poland will intensify bilateral cooperation with a focus on expanding cooperation in trade and economic, transport, and logistics spheres, Trend reports via Turkmenistan's Foreign Ministry.
According to the information, the delegations of the two countries, led by the Head of Europe and International Economic Cooperation Department of Turkmenistan's MFA and Deputy Director of the Eastern Department of Poland's MFA Marek Calka, sat down to hash out the cooperation in Ashgabat.
In the course of consultations, the sides discussed issues of interaction in the political and diplomatic spheres, as well as within the framework of international structures.
The participants exchanged views on topical issues of cooperation and touched upon cultural and humanitarian aspects of bilateral relations.
The sides expressed interest in further strengthening ties, especially in trade and logistics, which will be an important step in the development of the Turkmen-Polish partnership.
